Freedom - Single Release
This song was first a friend of mine on the piano. Late at night I would sit with a melody in my head as I played the keys. It was a time of reflection, nostalgia, and longing for a time that had passed and would never return. Acceptance finally settled in and this song was born with both affection and sadness for leaving the past behind.

I’m not ready to let go This place is all I know I savor the innocent youth, I was before the truth Freedom. Now I don’t belong, what have you done?
I’m afraid of my own head, I know things I can’t forget This wasteland has tied me down, given up my solid ground
Freedom you move me, too far from home While I’m waiting for something to make it right Will you stay here by my side? Freedom. Now I don’t belong, what have you done?
This pain is going round, The wounded are underground Come stand in the morning sun, feel the light that you have won
Freedom you move me, too far from home While I’m waiting for something to make it right Will you stay here by my side? Freedom. Now I don’t belong, what have you done?
You may say I’m crazy, crazy and you just might be right But I have my whole life to live, and I can’t wait to fly
Can’t wait to fly Can’t wait to fly But I’m not ready to let it go
